A preliminary attempt at research, this paper titled 'Traditional Media in Rajasthan' was written as part of an assignment during Mass Communication studies. I chose to explore the world of folk and understand the possibility of utilising folk arts as a medium of propagation of messages. The project involved travel to interiors of the state and interaction with some exceptional artists.

Though only a college project, this was a significant leap for me into the universe of Rajasthani folk arts. This is also where my association with Jaipur Virasat Foundation began which eventually led me into developing two documentaries for them, Utsav 2016 and Of love & artistry 2017.
